If you are an advertiser, you must also comply with the Terms and Conditions for Advertisers which are available at https://www.ampco.com.au/terms-and-conditions-for-advertisers/.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions you must stop using the Site.
The Australasian Medical Publishing Company ABN 20 000 005 854 (AMPCo) may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you.
Your responsibility for your password and login
To become a registered user, you must provide a password and a login name.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your login name.
You may change your password at any time by following the instructions on the Site.
You may change your login name or the services attached to your registration by contacting AMPCo Customer Service on 02 8091 5810 (Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm) or at clientserv@yourmembership.com
You must immediately notify AMPCo Customer Service of any unauthorised use of your login name or any other breach of security known to you.
Your responsibility for content
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you include in your profile or job advertisements or otherwise submit via the Site. You must not post any content that infringes intellectual property rights or moral rights, is defamatory, is offensive or is intended to mislead or deceive others.
You must also ensure that you obtain the consent of any individuals before posting their personal information on the Site or otherwise providing it to AMPCo.
Privacy
These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with AMPCo’s privacy policy which is available at https://www.ampco.com.au/privacy-policy/.
The information you provide is being collected by AMPCo for the purposes of marketing the jobs and other services that AMPCo provides.
While AMPCo takes all due care in ensuring the privacy of the information you provide, transactions over the internet may be intercepted by third parties. AMPCo disclaims all liability to you to the greatest extent possible pursuant to law should this occur.
Your personal information (including personal information that is not visible to external users) may also be accessed by AMPCo staff and contractors while stored on AMPCo systems.
Intellectual property
This Site uses trademarks owned by AMPCo and third parties. You must not copy or use any trademarks without authorisation.
Copyright in the material on this Site is owned by AMPCo and third parties. You may only use or download information contained on this Site for personal, non-commercial use. You must not:
- modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any material from this Site including code and software; or
- use data mining, robots, screen scraping, or similar automated data gathering, extraction or publication tools on this Site.
You grant AMPCo a royalty free licence (including a right to sublicense) to reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works of, and publicly display any advertisements and materials and other information that you submit via the Site. You also agree that AMPCo will own any intellectual property in any ideas for new or improved products and services that you submit to any public areas of the Site (such as bulletin boards, forums and newsgroups) or by email to AMPCo.
No endorsement
AMPCo does not endorse or recommend:
- any of the jobs, business or self-employment opportunities advertised on the Site; or
- any linked sites.
AMPCo is not responsible for the contents (including the accuracy, legality, decency or copyright compliance) of any linked site.
No warranty
AMPCo does not warrant:
- that the services available through the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the service will be corrected;
- the accuracy or completeness of the Site or any linked sites;
- that files available for downloading through the Site or any linked sites or delivered via electronic mail through the Site will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties;
- that every job advertisement represents an actual job vacancy; or
- that employers will remove vacancies that have been filled.
AMPCo is not liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken by you or anyone else in reliance upon any information contained on or omitted from the Site or any linked site.
Other
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid that part will be severed and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
Termination of these Terms and Conditions will not end those provisions that are capable of surviving.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
