To the Editor: Roberts-Thomson and colleagues1 raise important questions about the implications of introducing masters-level medical degrees with doctorate-level nomenclature (ie, Doctor of Medicine [MD]) to Australia. In particular, the potential consequences for postgraduate training deserve further attention.
