As I recently walked around Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin in an air temperature of 5°C, I had plenty of time to contemplate the position statement on acute domiciliary oxygen therapy recently published in the Journal.1 I have fibrosing alveolitis and am awaiting a lung transplant. I am on domiciliary oxygen therapy 24 hours a day.
